About Us

Hallo, we are Ria & Dirk from Bruges.

Ria is originally from Brakel in the Flemish Ardennes, and Dirk is from the Kempen region, born in Turnhout.

We met while working at the same company in Brussels. Twenty years ago, we moved from the city to beautiful Bruges.

From there, we often visited the coast—preferably De Haan, which to us is the most charming seaside town in Belgium.

When the Seaside Village project was developed in 2005, we decided to buy a home there.

In the meantime, we own two homes in Seaside and often spend weekends at the coast.

However, since we both have busy professional schedules, the homes are also rented out via Airbnb.
